Kartini Day 2025 Commemoration at the BPS Office of Sintang Regency

April 21, 2025 | Other Activities

In order to commemorate Kartini Day which falls on April 21, 2025, all employees attended a commemoration ceremony which took place solemnly in the office yard. The ceremony was led by Mrs. Hasty as the ceremony instructor, who on that occasion read the message of the Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of the Republic of Indonesia, Arifah Fauzi. In her message, the Minister of PPPA emphasized the importance of Raden Ajeng Kartini's spirit of struggle in fighting for women's rights in the past and its relevance to the present. Kartini is a symbol of courage to think beyond her time and is an inspiration for Indonesian women to continue to dream, pursue education, and take an active role in national development. This commemoration is expected to not only be a ceremony, but also a call to continue to act and live the spirit of Kartini in everyday life.
