BPS Sintang Holds Statistics Training and Data Evaluation for DDA 2025 Publication

Sintang – Ahead of the release of Sintang in Figures, scheduled for the end of February, the Sintang Regency Statistics Office (BPS) held a sectoral statistics training session for government agencies (OPD). This activity aims to enhance understanding of statistical management within government institutions, both at the central and regional levels.

This training is part of BPS’s ongoing efforts to support OPD in processing their data effectively. BPS at the national, provincial, and regional levels remains committed to assisting OPD in ensuring that the data they produce is accurate and adheres to established standards. By providing recommendations for data collection planning, OPD is expected to generate and manage high-quality data while contributing to the implementation of One Data Indonesia at the regional level, in accordance with prevailing regulations.

During the event, the Head of BPS Sintang officially opened the session. In his speech, he emphasized that this activity should improve statistical literacy among OPD/SKPD personnel as data producers, thereby enhancing the implementation of sectoral statistics in Sintang Regency. He also stressed the importance of verifying and validating data for the Sintang in Figures publication, ensuring its timely and accurate completion.

Statistical data plays a crucial role in planning and policymaking, as it reflects the characteristics and specific traits of a population based on data collection, processing, presentation, and analysis. Through this training, BPS aims to strengthen collaboration with OPD, ensuring that statistical publications become more reliable and optimally utilized by various stakeholders.
